• Natalie grew up in Richmond, Virginia making super 8mm films and figure skating competitively. She studied English literature at Harvard University, where she was also an editor for the Harvard Lampoon, an executive board member of the Harvard College Interfaith Council, a research assistant to professor and author John Stauffer, and a Presidential Instructional Technology Fellow at Harvard Law School. After graduating in 2010, she worked as a multimedia producer for The New Yorker before joining the staff of The Paris Review. She worked there as assistant editor until the spring of 2012, after the magazine's two-hundredth issue. During the summer of 2011, she was a resident writer at the Palovista Ranch in northern New Mexico. Natalie currently lives and works on a cattle ranch in Wyoming.
